Hello Hoa. How are things?
Hoa:
Hi Linda. Long time no see. Everything is great. How about you?
Linda:
I'm good, too. I haven't seen your posts on Facebook as much as usual. Did you stop using it?
Hoa:
Actually, these days I'm quite busy preparing for my mid-term exam, so I don't have much time to surf the Internet or update any news on Facebook. Besides, I find it quite time-wasting to spend a lot of time online on Facebook or other social network sites.
Linda:
Me too. I have to focus on my upcoming exams, so I don't log into social networks very often. But they are great tools to keep in touch with my family and friends, share feelings and make friends with people from miles away. I often use them when I have a lot of free time.
Hoa:
Yes, I can't deny the positive impact of social networks on my life, but they have bad effects, too. In the past, I used to use them a lot, so I did homework less and spent less time meeting family or friends in person. Due to the fact that we can watch people's profile from miles away, we are more curious about their lives. This wastes our time.
Linda:
I totally agree with you. We should manage our time when using social networks, so that we can make the best of them and avoid being controlled by them.

Mình thường dùng chúng khi mình có nhiều thời gian rảnh.
