Hans Christian Andersen was a Danish author. He grew up in a poor family, and he wanted to be an actor. Later, a friend of his paid for his education at Copenhagen University. He wrote novels, plays, poetry and travel books. However, He became most famous for the fairy tales he wrote between 1835 and 1872 2. Read your text and then fill in the table:
