    I. GRAMMAR: RELATIVE CLAUSE 2. Non- defining relative clause

Ex1: Viet Nam exports rice. Viet Nam is in the Southest Asia.

    - These clauses give us more information about a person or thing already identified.

    - When we write these clauses, we must use “comma (,)” at the beginning and at the end of the clauses.

These clauses are used in sentences containing:

proper name/noun (Ha Long Bay, John, Sirley…)

possessive adjectives (my, his, her, their, our, its)

demonstrative pronouns (this, that, these, those); etc..

    - In non-defining relative clauses, we cannot use “that” and we cannot leave out “who” or “which”.
