    1. The art form in the brochure is Cải Lương, a traditional Vietnamese opera. Cải Lương emerged in the early 20th century in Southern Vietnam, blending elements of hát bội (classical Vietnamese theatre) with French-influenced folk songs and music. It was created to cater to the modern tastes of urban audiences, combining traditional Vietnamese storytelling with more contemporary music and stage settings. Cải Lương focuses on social issues, human emotions, and morality, with melodious singing and instrumental accompaniment such as đàn tranh and đàn nguyệt. Over time, it has become an iconic form of Vietnamese theatrical arts, known for its deep cultural significance and emotional performances.

    2. The Đồng Ấu Bạch Long group has significantly contributed to the development of Cải Lương, especially in preserving and promoting this traditional art among younger generations. Founded by Bạch Long, a celebrated Cải Lương artist, the group has focused on training child actors to perform Cải Lương, thus keeping the tradition alive. Through their performances and educational efforts, they have maintained the spirit of Cải Lương while also bringing it into contemporary settings, making the art form accessible to modern audiences. The group plays a crucial role in sustaining interest in Cải Lương by infusing it with youthful energy and creativity.
