The Giong Festival is celebrated every year in Phu Linh Commune, Soc Son District, Ha Noi. This festival commemorates the hero, Saint Giong. He is consided a mythical hero because he grew from three-year-old child into a giant overnight. He is worshipped for defending the country from forgein valders - the An. Although festival is held from the latex(6^(th))to the latex(12^(th)) day of the latex(4^(th)) lunar month, people start preparing to traditional clothing for procession and various festival performances one month beforehands. During the festival, the procession starts at the Mother Temple and goes to the Thuong Temple where a regilious ceremony is performed. When night falls, a cheo play is performed. Then the festivities end with a thankgiving procession on the latex(12^(th)). This festival shows our love for the motherland and the perservation of our cultural heritage.

Co Loa Temple Festival
Co Loa Festival is celebrated every year after Tet Holiday in Co Loa Commune, Dong Anh District, Ha Noi. This festival commemorates the An Duong King for building Co Loa citadel and for ruling Au Lac for 50 years. It worships the legend of An Duong King and his magic crossbow. This festival is held from the latex(6^(th))to the latex(16^(th)) day of the Lunar New Year. First, the festival begins with great ritual and the ceremony procession on the day of Assembly. Then the villagers take turns praying for peace and prosperity. It's impressive because the processions from the surrounding villages to King An Duong Temple. I like this festival because it makes me proud of our country. Moreover, in the festival, people also put a lot of effort into celebrating traditional activities, such as human chess, swing, wrestling and traditional singing in front of the Upper Temple. I also like these activities because they preserve of our cultural heritage.
